Salt

This sector serves three categories: industrial salt, salt for human consumption, and salt for livestock. Excala Packaging has the right packaging for each sector.

The laminated sack is characteristic of the sector because it preserves the quality of printing over time and because of the protective barrier it offers. We have worked on developing a package that protects against the yellowing that can occur in the sack due to the chemical reaction between the polypropylene fabric and some salt components.

The appropriate characteristics for choosing the right packaging for this sector are determined by the type of product to be packed:

• Quality of the image to be projected.
• Barrier required.
• Kilos of product to be packed, ranging from 10 kilos to 50 kilos.
